Vesak Festival

 

Vesak is the most important Buddhist festival. On that day, the birth of the Buddha the enlightenment and the passing away are commemorated, Buddhists celebrate this festival on the full moon poya day. On the day of Vesak all the devotees worship the Buddha in the early morning. Also , the Vesak lanterns of the Buddha mandriya are beautifully decoration and the houses is decorated. Let's put vines and brighten the night. Vesak lanterns are hung in front of every Buddhist houses and on both sides of the road. These symbalize the light of the great trinity of Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. Thoran, Dansal, can be seen at this festival. Also, our houses was very beautiful back them. The joy that can't be expressed by lighting lamps and hanging lanterns everywhere. That happiness is only fora short time and that is the only lesson that Buddhism teaches us. Know that? Anything happens and disappears. This is the nature of the whole word.😊💗

My Pet

My pet is Akeera. It is cute little puppy. Akeera is brown colour. It loves to play. Akeera is the one who erases my boredom. I don't understand the passage of time. Akeera is loved by everyone in our house. I bathe it every  two day. Akeera favourit eat meat. The day akira fell ill, I would bring them medicine. I go some where, Akira is follow me. It has beautuful neak strap.  It needs a cup of milk every morning. Akira is two months old. I love my puppy.

Another memorable day

 

We went to the Malima hotel in Weligama. It was the first time I had styed in the hotel for two days.  Very nice place there. The hotel is surronded the sea. there is a lot of free space and the rooms are like cabins. I went there with my family. dinner was delicious. The staff at the hotel are very hospitable. Next day we went for a swim in the sea. I still feel very happy when I remember that. Like our competition, shellfish were also heard a lot that day. those shells are so beautiful. The evening the sea is very beautiful. It was a very happy day for us. 

My Word Queen

 Mom is the queen of my word. I think everyone is like mom is everyone's whole life.  From birth to today, all my sorrows and all my joys have been my mom. The happiest day I've ever had, my mother. If I've in a good place today, it's because of my mother. My mother is very kind. She is very courageous. She was someone who made a lot of sacrifices for me and my brother. She prepares delicious food for us. The day we left the house she was waiting for us to arrive. But how many children in this world do not have mothers? 😞 I wish none of  those kids feel sad.😟🙏  I wish no mother would feel sad  becouse of any child and I wish my mother a long life .💓🙏

Matara beach

 My city is Matara. My city is a famous  city in Sri Lanka. Matara kotuwa, Paravidupatha, Tharaka kotuwa are some of the famous places here. The city of Matara has produce talented people in various fields. Education, arts, politics are just a few examples. My favorite place to go is  the Matara bhoodi. I think the Matara beach also adds to its beauty. Matara is beautiful in the evenings. If you come to Matara there are many more beautiful places to visit. Veherahena temple, Devinuwara, Hummanaya occupy a prominent place among them. Matara is a separate one. Language, Style of speech, food ect, are culturally different from other provinces not only then but also today. Poems and songs about places in Matara have been written since then. Also, the characters living in Matara in the story lines are arranged in a way that reflects the style of the story. It has a temperrate climate. I love living in this city. 💖

My Grandfather

 One of the people I loved the most was my grandfather. But now he is not with us. In the past my grandfather used to bring me beautiful frocks. Grandpa loved me called me ''Honey"  My grandpa never cursed. In the past, when I came home, my grandpa would put me on his lap and swing me. Every evening when he came to our house he would at least bring me a toffee. So I'm waiting for grandpa to come  I used to go to school with my grandfather. My grandpa did farming. Grandpa had a limp. Grandpa also had a bicycle. There was a separate seat for me. Grandpa was not ready to put anyone else in that seat.  When my parents were not at home, my brother and I lovingly cared for my grandfather. Although my grandpa was very strict, he loved me, our mother and my brother immensely. So even though Grandpa is far away from us now, we will never forget that little time we spent with Grandpa. 😞💟🙏

The most memorable dream I have ever seen

 This is nightmare I had when I was in school. My brother and I walked barefoot out of the house to a deserted grassy area. We both walked a long way. Then I saw  different kinds of snakes. My brother and I went ahead without being afraid of any of those animals. At that time my brother was thirsty for water. I told him to drink some water from that spot. I told my brother and I walked alone. I got lost. We could not find each other. I ran halfway. When I run there was a ditch and I fell down that ditch. So I cried out loud. I actually woke up spontaneously The family woke up. It was the most memorable nightmare I have ever had.   😑😪

Christmas of Peace

 Although Christmas is a Christian holiday, Buddhists love Christmas too. In fact, Christmas is one of my favorite festivals. Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem. I really like to hear the story of Jesus. There is devotion. It is now common for Buddhists to celebrate Christmas as well. I especially like the Christmas carols and the Christmas tree decorations. It's starting to snow in foreign countries at this time. I would like to go to such a country too. There is a family celebrating Christmas in our village too. I also love Christmas so our family goes there to celebrate Christmas with gift. We come back having a lot of fun, having ginner and singing having fun. Christmas really means peace. That is what this society has shown today. That is, I see the celebration of a festival without distinction of race or creed as true peace.

 

My Birthday

I was born 2000.01.06. Ever since I was a child, I have celebrated my birthday every day as much as my mom and dad can. Then I receive gifts from neighbors and relatives. The guitar was my favorite gift I ever received.

My brother gave it to me. Birthday are actually a special day. But I think that day is more special for mom than me. Because my mother's heart has never felt so happy that day .I think.  Because, there is no position in this world as noble as motherhood. So, I think that day was more special for my mom than me.  But mom, dad, brothers,  they amaze me as much as they can. I was very happy that day. Now a lot of friends on campus are wishing me. That's great fun. No need to lie😉 I'm waiting for you to surprise me. I'm determined. That is, When it's time for me to have assets, give mom a present for my birthday.💝
